Help us fix it fast.
A great bug report gets fixed much faster. Include the following information when you report in Discord or by email:
- 01Tatami version
Open Tatami → About Tatami. Copy the full version string (e.g.
1.2.3 (42)). - 02macOS version
Apple menu → About This Mac. Include the version number and chip (Intel / Apple Silicon).
- 03Steps to reproduce
Numbered steps, as precise as possible. "It just breaks sometimes" is hard to act on.
- 04What you expected vs. what happened
A screenshot or screen recording is worth a thousand words.
- 05Console logs (optional but helpful)
Open Console.app, filter by
tatami, reproduce the issue, and paste the relevant lines.
Common questions.
Tatami requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later. It is built with native Swift APIs and is optimized for Apple Silicon, but also runs on Intel Macs.
No. Tatami works fully within the standard macOS permission model. No SIP modifications, no kernel extensions, no accessibility hacks required.
Licenses are verified locally and tied to your hardware. There are no accounts, no cloud sync, and no data leaves your machine.
Make sure Tatami has Accessibility permissions under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility. Also check that "Restore on launch" is enabled in Tatami preferences.
Yes. Zones, workspaces and placement memory all work independently per display. Each monitor has its own layout grid.
